Parasitology Innovations

Parasitology is the term used for the study of parasites. Parasites cause diseases to both humans and animals. Parasites are microorganisms that survive and feed either on or within the host bodies. Parasitology is the study that deals with the parasitic microbes such as protozoans, viruses, bacteria, fungi etc. The mode of life of parasites is referred to as commensalism. Malaria, Elephantiasis, river blindness, sleeping sickness are the commonly spread diseases caused by parasites. The infections can be reduced by minimising the exposure to biting insects such as mosquitoes. Innovations are new idea, device or process. Innovations are the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, inarticulated needs or existing market needs.
