Histopathology can be defined as the microscopic examination of surgical specimen or a biopsy to study the manifestations of disease. In histopathology, the issue is taken off from the body by surgery, autopsy or biopsy then it is fixed over the glass slide as a method of stabilization and stained with dyes followed by examination under the microscope.
