Scholarly Peer-review Journals In Histopathology

Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review. Histopathology can be defined as the microscopic examination of a biopsy or surgical specimen to study the manifestations of disease. In histopathology, the tissue is taken off from the body by surgery, autopsy or biopsy then it is fixed over the glass slide as a method of stabilization and stained with dyes followed by examination under the microscope. The fixation is done to prevent tissue decay.
