Cariology deals with the study of dental caries and cariogenesis. It is concerned with dental anatomy, cariology, operative and aesthetic dentistry. It was caused by various species of oral bacteria. The diagnosis includes detection of cariogenic bacteria. It can be prevented by preventing bacteria from the surface of the tooth and topical antimicrobial agents. It can be treated by Replacement therapy. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
