Orofacial Pain is concerned with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of orofacial pain disorders. The pain localized to the region below the orbitomeatal line, as well as pain within the oral cavity is called orofacial pain. The symptoms include postoperative pain, or may be syndromes such as TMJ disorder pain. It includes the most common disorder such as toothache and temporomandibular disorders, as well as rare orofacial pain syndromes.
