Fishmeal

Fishmeal is a nutrient , rich and high protein supplement feed ingredient that stores well and is used primarily in diets for domestic animals and sometimes as a high-quality organic fertilizer. It is a commercial product made from fish , bones and offal from processed fish. The food is a brown powder or cake obtained by drying the fish or fish trimmings often after cooking and then grinding it moreover If it is a fatty fish it is also pressed to extract most of the fish oil . There are different methods of making fish meal from raw fish in that the simplest is to let the fish dry in the sun and this method is still used in some parts of the world where the processing of proper plants are not available but the product is poor in comparison with ones made by modern methods. Most of the fish meal is made by cooking, pressing, drying and grinding the fish in machinery which is particularly designed for this purpose.
