The process of adding the micro-nutrient elements, like vitamins, protein etc., to the food materials is known as food fortification; it is also known as food enrichment. Diets that have absence of variety can be insufficient in certain nutrients; there comes the need of food fortification. With the help of food fortification, a large population can be prevented from deficiency diseases.
Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected.
