Ambulatory care is patient centered health interventions which comprises of surgeries, diagnostic procedures and treatment that does not require overnight stay in hospital. Ambulatory care helps in receiving the health care in a timely manner and reduces the risks such as hospital infections. At the same time quality of the nursing will be same as that received as an inpatient of the hospital. Ambulatory care can also be referred as âoutpatient careâ. This service ensures compassionate delivery of patients after the treatment . In outpatient consultation, which is one of the major roles of cardiovascular medical practice, evaluation and treatment of complex cases may be important in production efficiency of physicians, although there are diverse concepts of social role and significance of physicians in management of medical institutions.
