Geriatric Intensive Care Unit Scholarly Peer Review Journal

In most of the hospitals there is an intensive care unit present that is made specifically for elderly people. That unit is known as geriatric intensive care unit. The concept came into existence after the realization that the elderly need special care as their immune system is far weaker than others. Elderly who suffer from severe infections are admitted to intensive care units where the can be recovered. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
