Geriatric Cancer Research Articles

Cancer refers to the unusual growth of cells at a particular spot. After a certain time that growth is converted to tumor and the tumor takes the place of cancer. The tumor that occurs to the older people is known as geriatric cancer. Nit specifically occurs to older generation. The kids and young adults remain unaffected. Geriatric cancer or geriatric oncology is a branch of medicine that is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in the elderly of age 65 and older. This study incorporates the special needs of the elderly into the treatment of cancer. Journal articles are most often Primary Research Articles. However, they can also be Review Articles. These types of articles have different aims and requirements. Sometimes, an article describes a new tool or method. Because articles in scientific journals are specific, meticulously cited and peer-reviewed, journal databases are the best place to look for information on previous research on your species. Without a background in the field, journal articles may be hard to understand - however, you do not need to understand an entire article to be able to get valuable information from it.
