Preterm Birth Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Preterm birth is defined as delivery before 37 weeks of gestation. It is the leading cause of neonatal death and infant mortality, often as a result of respiratory distress syndrome due to immature lung development. Babies who survive are also at high risk of neurological disability and can experience further breathing, feeding, digestive, visual, and hearing problems. Observational studies have found that a prior history of preterm birth significantly. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
