Health care open access is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies related to all aspects of lymphoma. Lymphoma Open Access may include detection, diagnosis, epidemiology, pathology, staging, prognosis, treatment and prevention of lymphoma, such as drugs, genetics, biomarkers, and the integration of different strategies. All types of lymphoma and related subjects are included; both Hodgkinâs and non-Hodgkinâs, including T- and B- Cell, natural killer cell and other lymphomas.

Lymphoma Open Access journals in which non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, B-cells and T-cells are affected - both being types of lymphocyte white blood cell with special roles in immunity. In the US, B-cell lymphomas are much more common than T-cell ones.
In Hodgkin's lymphoma, the cancer cells are usually an abnormal type of B lymphocyte, named Reed-Sternberg cells. There are many subtypes of Hodgkin's lymphoma, typed by differences seen under the microscope - but a very high percentage of cases are classed as 'classic' Hodgkin's.
