Hydrogels

These are also called as aqua gels. These are the network of polymer chains that are water insoluble. In this water is dispersion medium. These are very flexible and similar to natural tissue. The polymer chains of hydrogels are cross linked. The nature of connections are different for physical and chemical hydrogels. For physical hydrogels they are held by either electrostatic forces/ hydrogen bonds/ interactions where as for chemical hydrogels they are held by permanent covalent bonds. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
