Metabolic syndrome refers to a group of risk factors such as Heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure etc. it is often associated with obesity. It can be controlled with change in lifestyle and taking proper care regarding food, exercise proper diet etc. it is often hereditary and can be controlled if proper care is taken. The person having metabolic syndrome is at high risk as there are double the chances of the risk of heart attack and diabetes etc when compared to the normal population. Nurse help is highly needed and expert help should be given to patient suffering from this disease.
