Arthritis is disorders of joints where inflammation of one or more joints take place. But in few cases arthritis may affect eye, skin or other organs. In humans two bones are joined together by elastic bands known as ligaments. These ligaments between bones allow the contraction and relaxation of muscles and allow the joint to move. There are different types of arthritis such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, infectious arthritis etc. The symptoms of arthritis include swelling, inflammation, stiffness, fever, etc. Arthritis cannot be cured but treatment may reduce the pain, prevent further damage of joints etc. The treatment includes change in lifestyle, regular exercises, water therapy, massage and many more. Arthritis can be prevented by regular exercises which are not only good for heart but also good for bones and joints, stretching, taking healthy diet and drinking enough water.
