Liposomes

Liposomes are bubble like structures made up of same material as that of cell membrane which is made of phospholipids. It encloses an aqueous compartment. These liposomes can be used to convey vaccines, drugs, enzymes and other substance to the target cells or organs. They have numerous uses as biophysical and biochemical tools.
