The products produced by the plants which act like hormones are called Growth regulators. Any of varied hormones made by plants that management or regulate germination, growth, metabolism, or alternative physiological activities. Additionally known as plant product. Any of the hormones made naturally in plants and active in dominant growth and alternative functions. There are 3 primary classes: auxins, cytokinins, and gibberellins. Auxin could be a phytohormone that promotes root formation and bud growth. Gibberlin could be a phytohormone isolated from a fungus; utilized in promoting plant growth. Growth regulator could be plant hormones that promote organic process and delay the senescence of leaves. A plant Growth regulator is a chemical compound, either natural or artificial, that modifies or controls one or additional specific physiological processes among a plant. If the compound is created among the plant it's known as a plant product. A plant regulator is outlined by the Environmental Protection Agency as "any substance or mixture of drugs meant, through physiological action, to accelerate or retard the speed of growth or maturation, or otherwise alter the behavior of plants or their manufacture. In addition, plant regulators are characterized by their low rates of application; high application rates of identical compounds usually area unit thought-about herbicidal".
