Pediatric multiple sclerosis composite around 10% of the overall multiple sclerosis cases. The disease presentation and symptoms are similar to those in adults. Since there is no standard symptoms and disease presentation for this disease, the symptoms in pediatric multiple sclerosis also varies among individuals. The common symptoms and case presentations such as blurred vision, double vision, optic neuritis, co-ordination disorders etc remains the same for pediatric multiple sclerosis. Pediatric cases needs to be given special care and concern since its unusual disease presentation will be difficult for the kids to manage and tolerate.
Journal of Multiple Sclerosis is one of the upcoming medical journals in that publishes articles related to paediatric multiple sclerosis. We try to compile articles from doctors, psychologists, or some other health care professionals such as nurses dealing with paediatric MS. The main aim of this journal is to bring all the issues regarding multiple sclerosis with same priority.
