Stroke Journals

Stroke is a condition which occur when the supply of blood to the different parts of the brain is interrupted or severely decreased depriving the brain tissue of oxygen and essential nutrients. Within the minutes, the brain cells begins to die. A stroke is a kind of medical emergency. Mini-strokes generally occurs when the supply of blood to the brain is concisely interrupted. Basically, the stroke is of two types. Firstly, called ischemic stroke that is caused by a blood clotting that blocks or plugs a blood vessel in the brain. Secondly, called hemorrhagic stroke that is caused by a blood vessel that breaks and bleeds inside the brain. A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the oldest journals publish articles, reviews, editorials, short communications, letters, and scientific papers across a wide range of scientific fields. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity. Each such journal article becomes part of the permanent scientific record.
