Tuberculoid Leprosy

leprosy is a chronic bactreial infection cuased by mycobacetrium leprae. the main effeted areas in human body due to leprosy are respiratory tarct, nerves extremities, nose and skin. and if the disease is left untreated, it leads to nerves and skin damage. though the disease is not fatal, it transmits from person to person through air and water. in tuberculoid lepprosy the infection is limited to skin forming lesions. based on the strain concentration in the infected persons, the disease is catogoried into paucibacillary and multibacillary leprosy.mycobacterial diseases is one of the best journals in the world. the journal is highly specialized, unique and well known for its quality articles.
