Myocardial Infarction

Myocardial Infarction (MI) is a complex multifactorial disorder caused by the interaction of environmental and genetic factors. Several types of genetic studies and approaches, such as family studies, linkage analysis, candidate gene approach, and genome wide association studies, have tried to unravel the genetic background of MI. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author'sscholarlywork, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected.
