Preterm birth is the condition in which the birth occurs before the actual gestation age.In humans the normal gestation period is 36 weeks but in some cases the birth occurs before this period such condition is specifically known as preterm birth.The preterm birth leads to premature babies. These babies are having many long term and short term complications even including the under developed organ systems and limbs etc. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
