External Radiation

Cancer patients require radiation therapy apart from chemotherapy. External Radiation is a method of sending high energy rays to the target organ threw the skin with the help of a machine. The duration and dose of radiation varies according to the type and place of cancer, other drugs that are used, age etc. some methods of external radiation are Three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy, Intensity modulated radiation therapy, Conformal proton beam radiation therapy. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
