Bone Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Bone is a living tissue that undergoes continuous remodeling, a process which depends on bone resorption by osteoclasts on the one hand and bone formation by osteoblasts on the other. These mechanisms are tightly coupled in space and time. Measurements of specific, circulating markers of bone resorption and formation, respectively released by osteoclasts and osteoblasts, reflect the overall timing of bone turnover and help defining the balance between these competing constituents of bone metabolism. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
