Strategies for preventing osteoporosis and osteoporosis-related fractures through physical activity in females include: Maximizing peak bone mass in children, adolescents, and premenopausal women, Preventing bone loss and vertebral fractures in postmenopausal women, Preventing falls and hip fractures in older women.
