Thyroid Nodule Research Articles

A thyroid nodule is a lump in the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is located at the base of the neck and is solid or filled with fluid. It is single nodule or a cluster of nodules. Thyroid nodules are common structures and rarely cancerous.Thyroid nodules can be either benign or malignant (cancerous). The majority of thyroid nodules are benign. Thyroid nodules are most common in women than in men. With the age advances the chance of getting thyroid also increases. Very often, nodules produce no symptoms. It could be identified by routine physical exam or imaging tests that are done for another reason. Journal Article is sometimes called a Scientific Article, a Peer-Reviewed Article, or a Scholarly Research Article.
