Average Model for an Interleaved DC/DC Boost for Fuel Cell Electrical Vehicle
The development of electric vehicle has provided new opportunities in the area of power electronic. In this paper, we purpose, model, and analyze an interleaved three-phase Boost converter. This converter can operate in boost mode and decrease the fuel cell ripple current. It uses only three switches to interconnect the fuel cell to the electric machine. A small signal ac equivalent circuit model of this converter is elaborated to design an appropriate controller for regulate the output voltage. The SimpowerSystem toolbox is used to simulate and validate the proposed model. The results prove the accuracy of the proposed model.
