Proteomics is defined as the study of proteins and their variability in human disease states. The proteome may vary between different individuals, different organs, or even between cells in the same organ in an individual. Pharmacoproteomics has led to identification of more clinically relevant associations for the development of new drugs based on targets. Andrew A.
