"Physiology is defined as the scientific study of the functioning of various organ and organ systems, which helps us in understanding the basic metabolic process taking place inside the body. It basically helps us in understanding the role of the various physical, chemical and biochemical process taking place inside the cells, tissues, organs, organ-systems of the living organism which may vary from a small bacterium to highly complicated human and plant system for their persistent existence. Physiology is broadly classified into human physiology, animal physiology, plant physiology, cellular physiology, microbial physiology that explains the microbial (viral and bacterial) metabolism.
Academic Journals in Physiology are devoted in publishing the articles related to the field of animal, human, plant and microbial metabolism. Academic Journals in Physiology disseminates the knowledge and new metabolic pathway innovations, feed-back mechanisms, diseases and various disorders of the organ system, their treatment, etiology, prognosis and the possible combating therapy. Physiologists and the other health professionals work hand in hand in seeking the new methods to treat and combat various disorders.
In general terms, the term physiology generally refers to the human physiology that deals with the coordinated functioning, interaction of the cells, muscles and organs with each other for the healthy and sustainable existence."
