Proteomics deals with proteins, particularly their morphology and functions. It also involves research of proteomes from the level of intracellular protein composition, structure, and its unique activity patterns. It is an important component of functional genomics.
A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research.
