Proteomics¬†deals with¬†proteins, particularly their¬†morphology¬†and¬†functions. It also involves research of proteomes from the level of intracellular protein composition, structure, and its unique activity patterns. It is an important component of functional genomics.
A journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting new research.
