Lupus

Lupus is a prolonged inflammatory disease that comes under autoimmune diseases. Here, body’s immune system tends to harm and kill its own body cells. Lupus has the tendency to attack joints, limbs, faces, kidneys, lungs, brain, etc. The symptoms are pain, swelling and rashes on face. Some individuals have a tendency to get through lupus after their birth. This disease can get triggered through sunlight, certain drugs, or may be sometimes through other infections. There is no such cure for the disease as its identification becomes difficult for doctors because, it has the same pattern of signs that are seen in different ailments. In a diseased person, our body’s immune system make proteins called as antibodies that act against the antigens or the other foreign particles entering our body. But due to lupus, the body immune system fails to differentiate between the antigens and body tissues. This leads to breakage of body’s own cells and tissues. Many review journals allow such information to get spread over the scientific world.
