Total Knee Arthroplasty

Total Knee Arthroplasty is a very common method for the treatment of knees having arthritis. This method has become very reliable and effective for the osteoarthritic patients. These methods have also allowed the doctors to treat such patients in a more effective and reproducible way. Previously, knee surgery or knee transplantation was a challenging task for the doctors and other licensed professionals because there are several problems involved with the concerned diseases. In cases of knee arthritis or osteoarthritis, patients have bony abnormalities that include change in the angle of neck shaft, bone deformity, rotation in the bone angle, structural changes in the model of various types of bones, etc. An average of 10% of all the patients gets deformity in the bone structures. This becomes a challenging task for the surgeons to correct the deformities occurring in bones due to mechanical stress or obesity.
