Association rule mining is the important techniques to attain the objective of data mining. It is popular methods for discovering uncover, unidentified relationships between different sets in massive databases. These results provide the basis for forecasting and innovative decision making in various fields. To discover these rules frequent item sets have to be find out. These are the building blocks. It plays an fundamental role in many data mining areas to discover various interesting patterns. It is a trendy and more tedious task. This paper describe a new algorithm for extracting frequent itemsets using damped window model .
