This work was conducted at Raniya Lakelet /Dukan, the study includes heavy metal concentration in water, sediment and fish organs. The experiment was conducted in the fish laboratory of Biology Department, Faculty of Science at University of Raparin, Sulaimani, Kurdistan Region - Iraq. The trials for the sampling species lasted for three months. 68 common carp taken as a sample, then divided in to four length groups (10-20; 20-30; 30-40; 40-50 cm). Heavy metals contents analysed in water, sediment and fish organs, including Cadmium (Cd), Zinc (Zn), Nickel (Ni), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu) and Lead (Pb). The results showed that heavy metals had no effect on some health aspect parameter such as CF and HSI but effect on GSI was observed. Also there is significant correlation between heavy metals and some health aspect parameter like HSI and GSI, while in generally there is no significant correlation between heavy metals and the other like CF.
