Shrimp which is a crustacean that lives in water. Shrimp farming is an aquaculture business that can be seen either in marine or in fresh water. Marine shrimp farming can be seen in countries like Japan, USA and European countries. Fresh water shrimp farming can be seen in China like countries. Shrimp farming is mainly done for business purposes only. The shrimp farming group journal focuses on the business of shrimp farming in different waters and also the nutrient sources of shrimp. Journals contain articles that peer reviewed, in an attempt to ensure that articles meet the journal's standards of quality, and scientific validity. Each such journal article becomes part of the permanent scientific record. Open access to the scientific literature means the removal of barriers (including price barriers) from accessing scholarly work. There are two parallel “roads” towards open access: Open Access articles and self-archiving. Open Access articles are immediately, freely available on their Web site, a model mostly funded by charges paid by the author (usually through a research grant). The alternative for a researcher is “self-archiving” (i.e., to publish in a traditional journal, where only subscribers have immediate access, but to make the article available on their personal and/or institutional Web sites (including so-called repositories or archives)), which is a practice allowed by many scholarly journals.
