Sleep dysfunction is also known as sleep disorder or somnipathy, it is a medical disorder. Sleep dysfunction effects normal physical, mental, social and emotional functioning of humans. This is normal disorder and usually temporary, may be caused due to stress or other factors. Sleep dysfunction is of many types which include dysomnias, parasomnias, circadian rhythm sleep disorders insomnia and sleep apnea. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals.
