This injury is basically related to spinal cord. It usually occurs when few of the parts of spinal cord gets damaged or do not work properly due to certain reasons such as some accident, sports injury gunshot, fall or some disease such as polio, transverse myelitis, etc. the symptoms are not certain, they depend on various factors like damage to the nerve root or where actually the spinal cord is damaged. The symptoms may include pain or paralysis or may be incontinence. When one or more bones in spinal cord are fractured then that is known as spinal fracture. A spinal fracture is a fracture affecting the bones of the spinal cord.
