Bone marrow stem cells are the stem cells found in the bone marrow, a spongy tissue in the bones. These stem cells develop into red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. These are the most studied stem cells. These are used in bone marrow transplant for leukemia and hematopoietic diseases. These stem cells are also used for the treatment of diabetes, heart failure and other degenerative diseases. Journal Article is sometimes called a Scientific Article, a Peer-Reviewed Article, or a Scholarly Research Article. Together, journal articles in a particular field are often referred to as The Literature. Journal articles are most often Primary Research Articles. However, they can also be Review Articles.
