Hormones are the chemical substances that are produced by endocrine glands and are transferred to different parts of the body through blood stream for showing its significant effects. With the increasing number of hormone disorders, diseases and imbalances there has been huge increase in the research in hormones field. With increasing research the number of journals publishing papers on hormones is increasing. One of the official journal of omics group is Journal of steroids & hormonal science that is publishing quality literature related to hormonal science. The review process followed by journal of steroids & hormonal science is single blinded peer review process. Before the manuscript is ready for publication they are subjected to peer review process where the original paper submitted by the author will be assigned to editors who inturn will assign the papers to referees for reviewing the paper. Based on the comments of referees editors will take a decision whether the paper can be accepted for publication or rejected or send for revision to increase the quality of literature. The journal publishes only the literatures which are acceptable by experts of well qualified professors and associate professors of editorial board and review board. Hence, the journal is able to publishes quality literature which can be useful for future findings.
