Organ transplantation is the transfer of essential organs from one location to another with in a same individual or from one person to the other for the purpose of replacing patients damaged or absent organs. Many diseases which will not be readily curable by any existing therapies can be cured by this method of organ transplantation. There are different types of transplantations and the most commonly transplanted organs are kidneys, liver and heart.
