It is a type of cardiovascular diseases which affects the blood vessels. It is a clinical condition of large and medium sized arteries which is affected by dysfunction of endothelial cell. Pathogens, cytokines, inflammatory stimuli endothelial cells are factors which causes vascular diseases. Once endothelial cells become activated it release cytokines and chemokines which expresses adhesion molecules on their surface which results in to release of WBC. WBC can infiltrate the blood vessels wall.
