The thyrotrope cells in the anterior pituitary gland secrete thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) in response to thyrotropine releasing hormone. TSH stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) which are necessary to regulate body mechanism. T4 and T3 are very much essential to promote growth during childhood.A journalÃÂ is aÃÂ periodical publicationÃÂ intended to further progress ofÃÂ science, usually by reporting newÃÂ research.
