Dental Considerations in Dandy-Walker Malformation

Dandy-Walker malformation is a rare congenital cystic malformation of the posterior cranial fossa. Patients with Dandy-Walker malformation show signs and symptoms of complex clinical manifestations, ranging from cranial nerve and cerebellar dysfunctions to extracranial abnormalities, which may pose challenges in dental management. In the current report, an 11 year-old boy with Dandy-Walker malformation presented with fracture of previously root canal-treated right maxillary central incisor.
