Rectal cancer refers to the cancer of the rectum, which affects the lower part of the colon that connects to the anus. It is a part which stores formed stools. Causes of Rectal cancer may be Cigarette smoking, Ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, Genetic alterations, Family medical history, Personal medical history, Age.
