Cyclodextrin glycosyl tranferase or Cyclodextrin glucosyltransferas or Cyclodextrin glucanotransferase or CGTase is a bacterial enzyme belonging to the same family. CGTase is an enzyme common to many bacterial species. All of the CGTases can catalyse upto 4 reactions: Cyclization, Coupling, Disproportionation and hydrolysis.
