Association d'Entraide des Polios et Handicaps (ADEP)

The ADEP was established in 1957 and formely known as Mutual Aid Association Polios and Disabled. The main purpose of the association is to create a policy of access that will allow disabled people to know about their right and the way to exercise them. The ADEP consist of more than 600 employees and 1,700 members in the country. The ADEP work s in four prominent regions: Île-de-France, Rhone Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte-D'Azur and Burgundy. The ADEP provides a range of services, including participation, independence, access to habitat, choice of life, desired job, for the people with disabilities. The ADEP offers following habitat to the disabled people: Specialized Home House (MAS), Escort service in society (SPAC), Residential care home (FAM), Escort service nursing home for disabled adults (SAMSAH) and Life Auxiliary Service (VAS). The ADEP also provides opportunities for professional activity-- Adapted Company (EA) and Establishment and Service through Work (ESAT). The ADEP and collaborative association’s works on the following principles: Sustainability and employment development with a high level of skills, Independence from major management associations, Defending the non-profit sector and Introducing innovative responses to areas not covered by the private sector needs. Facilities run by the organization: ESAT, EA, MAS, FAM, SPAC, and Retirement home.
