 The association for the study of neurons and diseases was founded in 1960. The Association for the Study of Neurons and Brain Diseases (AND) is a not-for-profit organization for the learning of mental health from a neurological perspective. The goal of and is to enhance the quality and quantity of research and education as it pertains to the understanding and treatment of mental health issues. By encouraging the conversation of ideas through international collaborations and information translation AND hopes to not only afford a better understanding of the neurological occupations and treatment of mental health issues, but also increase awareness and understanding of it. Associates of AND are Students, Professors, Researchers, Technicians and Industry members who all recognize the necessary importance of collaboration and statement in neuroscience for the treatment and accepting of mental health.To facilitate this conversation of ideas, each year AND hosts the International Conferences for Neurons and Diseases. This meeting requests all members to come and share their latest research and collaborate with further members. Advance the accepting of the science and health of the brain for the resolution gaining a better accepting of mental health problems and their treatments via: Collaboration: bringing composed scientists, researchers and other mental health professionals of several backgrounds and disciplines to simplify the exchange, application and integration of scientific and technical examination directed at mental health issuesKnowledge Translation: to disseminate the current leanings and implications of such research to applied users and the general public
