association for veterinary clinical pharmacology and therapeutics

The purpose of the association is promotion of the science of veterinary pharmacology and therapeutics. The AVCPT was originated in 1977.It consists of a different membership of almost 300 from over 20 countries. The affiliation parts a conjoint interest in research and education in veterinary pharmacology. The AVCPT proposals its membership the opportunity to network, both formally and informally with many scientists working in the field of veterinary and comparative pharmacology. Amongst our membership are professionals from academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and federal regulatory centers. Many of our Fellows are nationally and internationally recognized leaders in kind’s differences in drug disposition and veterinary therapeutics. The aims of the Association are to develop veterinary clinical pharmacology and therapeutics by: Sponsoring the use of medical pharmacological services in healthcare. Increasing the response of medical pharmacological skills in the evaluation of drugs and promoting in height moral standards in clinical drug research. Promoting the exchange of opinions in individual countries with regards to existing differences in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics. Utilizing the skills of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics in counteracting misuse of medicines drugs and other chemical ingredients.
