Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities

ABRF is a unique club affiliation comprising over 800 participants working along with the help of useful resource and research biotechnology laboratories. In 1986, a Research Resource Facility Satellite meeting held in conjunction with the 6th worldwide conference on Methods in Protein sequence analysis. By 1989 the ABRF was officially organized and integrated. Every 12 months an annual assembly was held as a satellite meeting of the Protein Society until 1996 while separate meetings started. The contributors constitute over 340 laboratories and administrative offices in authorities, academia, research, enterprise and industrial settings. The ABRF promotes the education and profession advancement of scientists via conferences, a quarterly journal, booklet of studies institution research and conference journey awards. The society also sponsors multi-center studies research designed to help members include new biotechnologies into their laboratories. The Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities is a global society committed to advancing improvements in biotechnology laboratories thru research, communication, and training.”
