Association of Dental Implantology (ADI)

The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) was founded in August, 1987 as a professional and non-profit making organisation. This association has developed into one of the largest dental bodies within the UK with over 2,200 active members. The main theme of this association is to safeguard standards and interests of the dental profession with regard to clinical procedures and scientific research. The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) is registered charity dedicated of providing the profession with continued implant education and the public with a greater understanding of the advantages of dental implants. In August 1987 the first ADI report revealed the Association’s key aims to advance oral implantology and its connected sciences throughout the United Kingdom by means of symposia, meetings, lectures and publications. ADI UK is a registered charity committed to improving the standards of implant dentistry by providing continued education and making certain scientific research. This association unites and coordinates implant groups with the United Kingdom and to facilitate communications internationally. The 1988 Inaugural International conference set the benchmark for quality education that has become the hallmark of all ADI programmes to the current day. Since its formation in 1987, the Association of Dental Implantology has been dedicated to providing on-going postgraduate education to the dental profession therefore on increase awareness of implant treatment as associate degree selection for up patient oral health.
